    Goodmorning all,

I recently repartitioned my HDD into 4 drives ... C:\ which holds nothing but my OS WIN98SE and my running programs D:\ which holds temporary work for my small buisness. E:\ which holds all my personal files and F:\ which hold nothing but images of the previous drives noted above as well as copys of files needed for other tasks.. basicly F:\ is used for all my backups.

I opened it this am to look for a recent image and notcied a folder that I have never seen before. The name of the folder is ~mssetup.t . Can anyone tell me why this appeared as it did not appear in any other drive when the partitioning took place, or what it is? There is nothing in it except another folder (which is also empty) ~msstfqf.t

Are these safe to delete? and if not what are thier pourpose?

    Regards,
    FireDancer

    Zander,

Thanks for the reply I found something such as you did about these folders and thinking back I recently let my wife install Works Money on the computer... allthough I am not sure as to why it would put a temp folder in the F:\ when the program was installed in the C:\. Strange to me but again thanks for the help.

    Regards,
    FireDancer

Your welcome and thanks for posting back.
FWIW, I did a search on this computer and found them on two different partitions. Neither of them have any programs installed on them.
