    Hi all,

After I have installed a new 2003 server and used the active directory of my win2000 server, any new users created in w2k server after the installation did not appear in the AD user and computers of my w2003 server. Same goes for the other way round.

    Please advice
    Thanks

I have run DCpromo on my win2003 server. Prior to that , I did a adprep /forestprep and adprep /domainprep. This is a second server in this small office ( about 7 ppl ). I have come to the stage where all the users in the w2k server are imported to the win2003 server. Its just that any new user created after the process is not successful.

Dont know about the DC Promo route. But if you run through the super easy wizzard in Manage Your Server, It will ask you if this is the first domain controler or an additional. If you select additional it will ask you to direct it to a domain and a server along with an account with admin privliges on that server. It then procedes to copy the AD over to the new server and the whole AD becomes mirrored.
