    Hi,

I have been using IPE for a long time but decided to uninstall it. The uninstall went without a hitch except that in the Add/Remove programs dialog box it still says I have it installed. When I clicked Add/Remove again it went through the same steps but still refused to leave the Add/Remove programs even after I re-started. Now I would like to install NAV and this is saying that another virus software is currently installed on the system.
A visit to the IPE website concluded nothing. Is there any method apart form actually removing every registry entry by hand?

    Hi absilvio!

I recommend that you use RegCleaner first to remove all detected traces of the program from your Registry.

Then check your drive to see if the InoculateIT folder is still on it. If found, delete it completely.

Then finally, one way to clear the Add/Remove Programs list is:

From the Start Menu hit Run

    Type in REGEDIT.EXE, hit ENTER

    Click the + on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    Click the + on Software
    Click the + on Microsoft
    Click the + on Windows
Click the + on Current Version
    Click the + on Uninstall

You'll see a list of program names exactly like the one in your window of removable programs. Just highlight the one you want to erase, then at the top of the box click on Edit, then Delete.

Please be careful anytime you are using REGEDIT, you can do some real damage. Always export the key before editing.

If you have any Tweaking utility installed, it can clean that list also.

    Regards
