Hi ... I made Opera ( 7.51 ) browser as my default browser ... I notice in my windows explorer area under the following MY Computer >>> Local Disk (C) >>> Windows i have HTML files , Now that i made Opera as my default browser it seem these HTML files open with Opera ... Well Now i happen to uninstall Opera browser and i now notice for my HTML files i can't no longer open these files .... Its ask when i try to open them , how would i like to open the file ?? I have try windows picture and fax viewer but i would get no preview available , I then try to use IE but nothing happens at all ... Also i have try to go back into windows explorer and click the following >>> Tools >>> Folder option >>> General >>> restore Defaults and View >>> restore Defaults but again that didn't work either ... Is there a way to repair these HTML files ?? Or fix them from my xp disk ??? I am using windows xp pro full install with all windows updates ... I even when to tools >> internet option >>> Programs tab >>> HTML editor >> set at notepad , even try the reset web settings... did this as well under the start menu >>> Set Programs Access and Defaults >>> Custom >>> browser , email , media player all back to microsoft windows but this all didn't work ...Thanks for any help at all
