I have 2 drives on my pc 1 is for XP and 1 for Me
When I last used ME it was fine next time I switched on my desktop Icons were huge and the curser has disappeared
I tried drop down menu to get to safe mode or other means of entry but still remains same
I was going to reinstall using the mouse buttons but when I started there was acceptance of agreement box for me to click I could not do that The main problem is where has the curser gone? I know the mouse is not broken because it works ok on my other drive
I would be grateful of private reply if you can help to
    Thank you :( Francestrixie@aol.com

Hi Fran. Welcome to the boards!
I'm not sure I fully understand. Are your display settings out of whack on both XP and ME? Have you been into device manager to see if you've got any yellow exclamation marks? Have you tried a system restore? Are you able to boot ME to safe mode?

This sounds like a video driver corruption. Using System Restore to return your computer to a working state would be the first thing to try.
Go to Start\Run, type in Msconfig and press Enter. Click on Launch System Restore. Or you can enter this line in the Run window.
    c:\windows\system\restore\rstrui.exe
BTW: you might want to remove your email address, it can be picked up by spammers. This forum does send you an email whenever someone responds to your post. A private reply would undermine the purpose of this forum, so that others can search for a similiar problem and find the solution.
