About a year ago I changed the registry in my computer to
allow more than two similtaneaous downloads in Internet
    Explorer. That was adding the
    values "MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"
and "MaxConnectionsPerServer ". But now, suddenly it no
longer works even though those values still exist. The
only change I can think of that I have made recently to
the computer is running Ad-Aware once and allowing a recent auto-update from Microsoft.

I have tried erasing and then re-adding the values, but
still I can only make the standard two downloads at one
    time.

Did Microsoft make changes so I can no longer have more than two downloads? Could Ad-Aware be interfering with my ability to edit the registry? Any ideas??

How are you determining its not working? Are you sure that its not being limited on the server-side? I'd expect that if it was server side, you would see a third socket opened, and either reset, or delayed until one of the other FSMs spins down.
