    Hi stitch. :)

When you do the scan, it doesn't show the running processes in the scan window, so it appears that it's only half the log. Just click save log after the scan is done and a save dialog box will open. Name it, click save and it will open up in notepad, looking the way it's supposed to. Then you can copy/paste from there.

    Ok thanks
Noe this is what I have got can anyone tell me if I have a problem or not. When i go onto search in my IE I keep getting redirected to a search page thats not msn. Along with lots of popups some of which look like messenger windows.

    Thanks in advance.
Ps I will need a walk through on how to fix any problems as I have never used HJT before or gone into registry before or such things.

Right click the desktop and choose new>folder. Name it HJT. Cut and paste HijackThis.exe to that folder.

Scan again with HijackThis and place a check next to the following entries. Close ALL other windows and click fix.

Right click My Computer and choose properties. On system restore tab, check the box to turn off. OK out.

Go to start>run and type msconfig, hit enter. On the boot.ini tab, check the box next to /safeboot and OK. Yes to restart. This will restart your computer in safe mode.

Now in safe mode, open C:\WINDOWS\system32 and delete the file SIPSPI32.dll if present.
Open C:\Windows\Temp, select all and delete.
Open C:\Documents and settings\username\Local Settings\temp, select all and delete. Do this for all usernames.
Open C:\Windows\Prefetch, select all and delete.
Open My Computer and right click Local Disk C:, then choose disk cleanup. Check all except compress old files and OK.
Uncheck the /safeboot box in msconfig and ok to reboot.

Back in Windows, you can re-enable system restore. Run another HijackThis scan and post the log, along with any comments.

Glad to hear it stitch, and happy to help. :)

Do you have Spybot Version 1.3? If not, download it from my signature and install. Allow it to load SD Helper. Open it up and click immunize in the left pane, then immunize again, this time from above with the green + beside it. Click the link below that for SpywareBlaster, download, install and update.
    Then download and install IESpyads.

That will give you an added layer of protection against unwanted parasites.
