OK I got the newest version of MSN Messenger (6.2.0137). When I tried to run it, I get this error saying "Couldn't execute program because program configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the program may help." I've done this multiple times with the same problem resulting.

    Windows XP Pro

It's possible that MSN Messenger is fighting with Windows Messenger (the version of MSN Messenger that ships with XP). So the solution may be to uninstall Windows Messenger completely (if you haven't already) and then try a reinstall of MSN Messenger.

The easiest way (in my opinion) to uninstall Windows Messenger is to go to Start>Run and type in (or copy and paste from here) - RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove - click OK (or press Enter), reboot.

Then try the MSN Messenger install and see if it works.

I got it working after fighting with it a good bit. I had to uninstall/reinstall, then repair the bleep installation! I was finally able to get it to work with JNRZ Loader after I downloaded that file from another site besides Mess.be.
