    hey guys,

I experimented with Remote Desktop and it worked fine (using a broadband connection). My question is: how can I do a file transfer from and to the host PC? Is this possible? Do I have to set my drives to shared?

I'd appreciatte any hekp with that. Thanks in advance.

    Cheers!

Remote Desktop supports automatic local drive mapping/redirection (look at the Local Resources tab under Options) but some antivirus programs conflict with this feature. See Q315870 .

    Yeah...

    :p
Thanks Unixfan... Yeah, I know and checked that but I still can't figure out how to "see" the drives from the client in order to copy files. I can "see" the Host but how can I transfer files?

I know that I could set a FTP server and do it but I am curious if I could do it with Remote Desktop. Just a challenge...

If you think of something please let me know...

    Cheers!
