Viruses on home pc can they transfer to iPAQ

Hi. I need to active sync my HP iPAQ 4155 but have the following viruses. If I active sync will they transfer to my iPAQ?

Errr - why not get rid of the infected pieces first?

 

Open task manager and make sure that m.exe is not running, then delete it. Empty the recycle bin.

Then download TheKillbox from here: http://tools.zerosrealm.com/killbox.zip

Unzip the files to a folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the "Paste Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste the following:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\resoop.dll

Don't click any of the buttons though, instead please click on the Action menu and choose "Delete on Reboot ". On the next screen, click on the File menu and choose "Add File ". The filename and path should show up in the window. If that's successful, choose the Action menu and select "Process and Reboot ". Reboot when prompted.

Scan the PC again to make sure it's clean.

It's just a random file name created by a Trojan. This one happens to be in your system restore files. Turn off SR and reboot. You can re-enable it when you're back in windows. And you'll be clean too!

Great! Do you have Spybot Version 1.3? If not, download it from my signature and install. Allow it to load SD Helper. Open it up and click immunize in the left pane, then immunize again, this time from above with the green + beside it. Click the link below that for SpywareBlaster, download, install and update.
Then download and install IESpyads.

That will give you an added layer of protection against unwanted parasites.
