SpyBot 1.3 Update List

Hi, All ~

Any SpyBot users here know where to locate a list (includes & respective dates) of updates.

Not looking for a manual load, just a list of updates since 1.3 came out.

The link results in "Connection to database server not possible! " on units here at work and at home.

I thought I had checked those though for such a list.

Worked for me when I posted - right now get the same response as you. This may be a DDOS attack or heavy traffic. Try it again later.

Anyway, there is a list right on the front page of Kolla's site. In the forums, when updates are announced, there is usually a list with it.

I'll keep my eye out. If I get to the site, I'll see if I can copy them - post here.

Did some more thinking about this.

From SpyBot's main panel:

Settings > ignore products. Here you will see tabs of the stuff - malware and otherwise that SSD is scanning for. Go into each tab. Most should be uchecked. This is where the DSO exploit should be excluded from scanning.

They may tell you to do what I just went thru

There is no info there regarding a list of upates.

 

Forgot to add for anyone looking at this that to see the Settings - Tools menu at the bottom of the left panel: Click on Mode in the upper left hand corner next to File > click "advanced ".

Those items in those tabs are the updates and updated every time there is a SSD update.

True, w/o the details that you're looking for such as dates.

Please post back on the answer you get at SSD's forum.

The items on the "Ignore" tab are "...products that SpyBot S&D can detect... ", sorted into categories and with the function of being able to exclude items of your choosing from detection during running - that is it. It does not list updates that are brought out by SpyBot and the respective dates.

What it is I am looking for is a list that shows include detection updates and the respective date of each, similar in simple structure to the following fictitious example:

* Update 611 - includes -June 2, 2004
* Update 612 - language pack -June 13, 2004
* Update 613 - detection rules - June 15, 2004

Many sites have a history of updates, for example AVG Anti-virus.

I hope that helps clear up any confusion I may have created.
