I installed Win2k on another computer and found when it boots up it asks me to choose which OS I want; either Windows 2000 Pro or Windows. Naturally, if I choose Windows it does nothing. I would like to just get rid of this screen and question. It doesn't appear on my other computers with same OS. Any help?

Quickest way (see attached picture) Is to select the one that works & set the time to 1 second.

    Another Question

steve - Thanks for the quick reply. If I have Office 2000 and Norton 2003 System Works on one of my computers with Win2K OS, can I copy these over to the other computer with Win2K OS? I cannot find original disks.

You can copy them over but they won't work. Too many registry entries and files placed in folders other than the one holding the application.

If you can't find the Office 2000 disks and need access to your office documents, try OpenOffice. It will allow you to open and edit your office documents. You may even find you won't want to bother installing MS Office.
