I cannot edit or delete files in the download manager. The last time I wrote I got a reply telling how to go into my salt folder. I have been unable to find this.
Could you give more basic instruction :) :) I'm very slow at learning these things. I was able to enable the function of "showing hidden files" Please help me I'm very frustrated. Thank You!

    Hi daveis39,

    Hi Dave,

This is where you will find the downloads.rdf file:

    Close Netscape and Quick Launch
    Open Windows Explorer

If you have Windows XP or 2000, your *.slt folder will be located here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\xxxxxxxx.slt
    NOTE:
These files are hidden by default.
    To see hidden files:
    1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options
    2. Click the View tab
    3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders

If you have Windows 95, 98, or ME, your *.slt folder will be located here:
    C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\xxxxxxxx.slt

The x's represent random characters which would be similar to this:
    348v89s2.slt

If you are still unable to download, then delete the compreg.dat file, which is located here:
    C:\Program Files\Netscape\Netscape\components
