As said earlier, not meant to offend but ........ most wireless keyboards and mice have little buttons for synchronizing frequencies between transmitter and receiver - have you followed the mfg's instructions in this regard or at the very least, pushed those bottons a few times? Whats your mfg? I have some experience with 4-5 different types. Good Luck.

Guess that'll teach me to read more closely. Glad to hear it though. Some of em' can be a bit tricky - picked up a few close out Memorex wireless kb's and mice a year or so ago and they can be as bad as setting the clock on a VCR! hehehe ......... Tough to beat Logitech in the wireless department.

    ;)

Enrique: Also, just a hint: You can have two mouses (mice?) plugged in at the same time, e.g. PS2 and USB. Can't use them both simultaneously, but both will work. I have a wireless mouse plugged in to PS2, and when the batteries go dead, I put it in the charger and plug in a USB mouse to use while wireless is charging. I don't know for sure, but you probably can have two USB mice (mouses?) and use them consecutively.

Also, neither wireless mouse or keyboard will work unless you follow the instructions and push the "connect buttons" in the sequence as outlined in the setup manual.

    Hope this helps.

    Try This

you may be able to use the previous drivers if they used the current connection, also, check the frequency for the mouse/keyboard. this same problem happened for me. make sure batteries are charged/new

Yeah, I always follow the instructions manual, then if that don't work, I try my way. Failing that, I come here. But as I said before, it was a printing error in the instructions manual so... c'est la vie. Thanks for all the help, info etc.
