This started a few weeks ago. When I am online I can't click and open about 75% of the links on a page, this happens in my email too. I don't know what to do to remedy the problem. I have searched the web and seen other help sites where others have asked the same question so I know it is not just my computer, but a glitch somewhere. However, I was not able to find the original post to follow the suggested solutions. Have any of you heard of this??? It is driving me crazy!
    Thanks!!

If you copy the link and paste it into a browser address window, does it open normally for you?

Yes, I can right click the item or link, go to properties and copy and paste the URL and 99% of the time it works.

Another thing I have noticed is that when I click on the link I want to open I see the top colored bar (with the minimize button on it) blink, but no page loads.

Follow the instructions on this page. Try running the regsvr32 commands first since that often fixes the problem you're having (scroll that page down a little to see them). If that doesn't do it, scroll back up and try the steps listed after the line, "You may have a broken entry in file associations. "

Alright, here is what I did and IT WORKED!!!!! When I ran each regsvr32 through it was the last two that showed that they were not found. Broweui.dlll and Shell32.dl.

The error message was: LoadLibrary ( "Broweui.dlll ") failed - The specified module could not be found. Same message but with Shell32.dl

I didn't do anything after the failure message, I just checked a few links online and it all started working again.
    THANKS A MILLION!!!!! :D

    RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
Quit all programs that are running.
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.
If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):
    Shdocvw.dll
    Msjava.dll
    Actxprxy.dll
    Oleaut32.dll
    Mshtml.dll
    Browseui.dll
Shell32.dll (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only)

    You're quite welcome!

Thank you for posting back to let us know that got it fixed and how you did it. Nothing like getting a failure message and then finding out it worked anyway. ;)
