Please don't mis-read this as me trying to do something illegal......

Is it possible to log into my school network that uses Novell and Zenworks with my home laptop running XP without Novell and Zenworks? I can with my Mac. I'd like to be able to transfer files back and forth. There seems to be a legality issue with putting the "school" software on my "personal" computer. I was looking for a work around.

    Thanks in advance.

Log in at school.....wired. We have decided not to open up remote access other than to email accounts. (Concerns over the possiblity of hacking grades) I have been tinkering with this for awhile.

With my mac laptop, it just automatically sees the network. I don't even have to log in with my user name or password. With my XP laptop, I change the workgroup, match IP adresses....but it doesn't see the network at all. You guys were so quick to help with previous problems I thought this would probably be easy for "the brains" also.

Thanks again for your time NEWT.
