Wins 98se Shutdown revisited again

    Why me Lord?

    The PC "SHUTDOWN" correctly 28 times. A new PC best record. And then the dreaded freeze, windows would not shut down? Plwase advise. Thanks for your time.

    Boot it back up and let it sit for a few minutes. (without doing anything) Shut it back down. Repeat the process a few times.

    Did it shut correctly any of the times?
