I have had my Kodak CX4300 for over a year now and it has transferred with no problems until recently. Probably about 1 month ago the computer stopped recognizing that it's there when I press the share button on the camera dock. Well I finally fixed that problem by mapping one of my network drives to another drive other than E:. Now that the computer displays the drive when I press the press the button it still doesn't recognize anything is there.
    Error says:
    E:\ is not accessible
    Incorrect function

    Error here

BTW, the drive shows up under the hard disk drive section. You'd think it would display under the Scanners and Cameras section.

I'm working with Win XP home, all updates installed, latest Kodak software downloaded.

With Windows XP, you don't need any Kodak software to dowload the pictures. Windows will do it when the camera is turned on and needs downloading.

I've tried that, but for some reason it doesn't have a driver that will work for it. It detects the new hardware, but won't install it.
