    This site offers a number of languages including German. Also the option to get a real multi-lingual spell checking system to do a variety of languages in the same document.

    Microsoft's Encarta encyclopedia comes with a multilingual dictionary, incl German. The Encarta maps are terrific, so if you have to pay $$$$, Encarta can be worth it....I use them all the time to locate obscure towns/villages in Germany.
