Bookmarks Extremely Slow Loading

I use Netscape 7.02 only because 7.1 refuses to run on my computer, but anyway when I click on bookmarks, Netscape freezes for about 4 or 5 minutes. I can use the computer for other things and finally the bookmarks load and all bookmarks work as long as I am in that tab. Another tab and it does the same thing again. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi thermostat,

First of all, are you also running another version of Netscape, or Mozilla? If so, are you sharing a Profile?

Next, what Theme are you using? Themes other than the default Modern can cause problems, so if you aren't using the Modern Theme revert back, and then see if you have a problem with Bookmarks.

How large is your bookmarks.html file? It is located in the *.slt folder. See: Profiles Folder Location
