I got a new problem with Outlook Express.

I am being so careful with the inbox mail.... Yet It is gone "again "..... I did not press anything but the left side of my mouse to open just one e-mail. Then all the mail went Poof.... Even the ones I hadn't tried to open.....

This is not good - please try and tell me what I am doing wrong.
It has happened for three straight days now. And it has been working so good.

I am using the latest version of OE 6.

The easiest thing to check first is in OE>View>Current View, with the Inbox selected, make sure "All Messages" is checked. If it's not, check it. If it is checked, click on any of the others, close OE, reopen OE and go back and recheck "All Messages. "

If that doesn't do it, take a look at the MS KB article, Your Messages Disappear If the View Is Set to Show All Messages.

I know you say you're being careful. My mom has done this several times. She clicks on the inbox(which is now highlighted), the mail shows on the right side with the first email being "lightly highlighted ", she hits the delete button to get rid of the first email, and she deletes her inbox. If that's what is happening, just click on your deleted folder, the inbox is there to restore.
