bitmaps

    when i open any page,these little sq.boxes with red/blue and black dots appear.I have to rifgt click on them and then click show pictures to get these images to appear.I have reloaded win 98se and also explorer 6 and nothing seems to help.

    David,

    By 'reloaded' do you mean reinstalled or just restarted?

    If it's the former then I'm stumped. If it's the latter then IE is setup not to show pictures.

    Go to IE Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and scroll down to the Multimedia section, make sure the "Show picutres" checkbox is ticked.

    That should do it.
