Not sure if this is healthy for my pc

When a normal person runs ip config, should they get four ethernet adapters and the first three have all zeros?

 

if i deleted my aol adapter and my dial up adapter, is that bad?

i ran ip config and i got a fatal error message




also, for my netgear ma101 usb adapter should i have a netbeui in my "network" window?



*edit* i ran a ping to yahoo, and it got to them and they sent it back. How can i "talk" to yahoo but not access any webpages???
*edit...again* Don't tell me if there was an easy way, i just recovered it. I'm sure there was, but ignorance is bliss

Define "normal person"

And yes, it's absolutley possible to have network adapters with no IP configuration. No harm done - unless you need to use one of them, then it might pose a challenge.

And the happiness thing is cool, even.
