    Hi Ramona,
    Thanks for the welcome.
I am checking this out for a friend, and I believe the upgrade was done from version 4.x. For some reason no pictures will load.

    Thanks

A pleasure to welcome new members!

    p51mustang,

I always try to remind folks that Netscape 6.x is not an upgrade to Communicator 4.7x. It is a brand new browser, with a complete rewrite of the code. I saw the Netscape 6 browser referred to as a "superbeta" on another Forum, and I have to say that pretty well sums it up. If your friend is expecting a finished browser, this is not the case.

If your friend could view images with 4.7x, there should be no reason why those images aren't viewable in Netscape 6.2. Look in Edit|Preferences|Privacy & Security|Images
Make certain that "Accept All Images" is enabled.

Also, is 4.7x still on the system, or was it uninstalled? This too could be a problem, as the 4.7x profile is automatically converted to 6.2.

    Let us know.

    Ramona :D
