Notification music file change when new mail coming

    I m using Outlook Express , evry 10 minets the program checkes for new emails, when new email arrives the music file is short and low volume, can I change some where the music file & can I also get a small windows on my desktop telling me about new emails.

    Depends in detail which OS you are running, but in general ....

    Control Panel > Sounds or Sounds and Audio Devices > Sounds (in XP) - scroll down list to New Mail Notification, highlight it and from the dropdown box select a sound of your choice or browse for a .wav file elsewhere on your PC.

    No idea about the New Mail Window - never seen/used it.

    Incredimail has notifiers built into their mail program. You could switch from outlook to incredimail if you wished. Also a audiable wave. Makes me jump outta my skin at times :D
