I know, save us from the amateurs....downloaded demo software to partition my hard drive.....somehow or another my hard drive now is 57 GB instead of 57MB (well I guess you get what you pay for). How do I change it back. Was definitely one of those "duh" moments. Running XP...

If the software swelled it from 57Mb to 57Gb (about 1000 times larger) then why do you want to shrink it again?

If you got the two backwards and you have shrunk the drive, did it have any critical, or even any important, data? If not, use XPs disk management to scrub it and set things up again. If that doesn't work, the name of the app that did you bad would help.

Easy enough goof to make. Shucks, I managed to move a forum user from Italy (where he really lives) to Australia. :D

Is there anything on the drive you don't want to lose?
