Why does the "Statusbar" in WindowsXP go to Hide.. by default?!

    Helo there!

    I think everyone use the statusbar in all application, especially explorer,

    However, it disapear after restart as if it is hidden by default?!

    I couldn't find any clue for the statusbar in the regestry?!

    anyone can do any help for this?!

    I want to have it in all explorer shown by default.

    Welcome to the board "very high quality" :)

    You've done the obvious, and from the view menu ticked status bar and then gone into tools|folder options|view and clicked on apply to all folders?
