Switcing on info in windows explorer

    Could someone please tell me how to switch on the details option at the bottom of windows explorer that tells you how much the folder you are viewing is in size and also how much disk space is left on the partition.

    Hi there,

    you could possibly try the status bar. open up windows explorer and click view~status bar.

    Another quick way is to double-click "My Computer" and as long as your view is in "Details" view you will see the information your looking for. :)

    If "My Computer" is not in "Details" view just click on "View" at the top of the window then select "Details" from the drop-down list.

    I use this method as I have 2 Hard Drives that are partitioned plus I have an External USB Hard Drive...this view also me to see what the "Free Disk Space" is on all my drives at once.
