How good is the program "Start Up Control Panel" by Mike Lin? I would like to use it since I have Win 2000. Does it work with Win2000 SP4?

I would like some opinions on the program before I download.

    Thanks

Hmmm. Not sure what is causing the lack of replies. Maybe no one who is using the app has looked in since you posted. I don't use that particular one so have no opinion to offer.

It is supposed to work, downloaded it, never installed it. Found out you can copy the "msconfig.exe" file from an XP machine (located in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM 32\DLLCACHE\msconfig.exe) copy it to your W2K machine in the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM 32 folder. Works GREAT !!! Joe.

Mike Lin's little program is great. I have used it on several machines for years. Good idea. ;)

    Hi Jeane...

I'm sure you may have seen this but just in case...quote from Mike Lin's page...
I have used it on my finance's Win2k SP4 workstation and on my WinXP SP1 workstation. I also use Mike's StartupMonitor which works quite well. :)
