I have a pretty bad problem with Xp . I was surfin along and desided I wanted to burn a game , when I checked my computer the cd roms were gone . I done every normal computer add and remove hardware thing to do , un-installing , Unpluging , reinstalling ect . I went to F-8 on re-boot and selected the ol a date configurations were working I selected but I had no dates to select . I tryed a few things in bios , changing boot sequence ect , made dvd primary slave ect I really stumped .In device manager my drives are listed with exclamations . Says Windows cant start devices because system registry on device may be incomplete or corrupt , Well I tryed to update drivers , I have the most current versions , I did system restore , still nothing . It would not let me go back before march 1st . So I restored a couple days before when I know it was working . When I unplugged them and turned on system windows detected them but the same thing exclamation points ..Ive Had My system for 6 months now Its a sony Vaio 1.7GHZ 512 Ram , 200 internal 160 gig external g-force 3 , soundblaster audigy . no conflicts on any Hardware . I have 300 movies on my drives so really reformatting is my last resort . I cant burn them off my cd roms dont work LOL . Is the any way I can restore registry or something to fix this . This happened out of the blue , I dont surf **** or nothin like that thats what I dont understand . No viruses are detected . I am totally stumped , let me know if you can help!!! I tryed deleatein a few filesin the Registry but it wouldnt let me said and error occurd when deleting file Code 19 message on Roms .

    If error Code 19, 31, 32, or Code 39, try Q314060
