    Got three areas of concern:

    1. I have made a posting.
    Can't locate it.
    Someone may have answered.
How do I do a search to locate my posting ?

    2. I goofed and attached a posting to someone else's posting because I was having the same problem.
Was asked to post seperate. We did. (That is the one we can't find).

    3. Problem is:
On the internet and in this BBS I can't get beyond the second click (or link).
It hangs and gives a "Not Responding ". This is a recent problem - been working good for a long time.

We did all the virus checks - ran two Ad Aware programs and erased all cookies, history and temp files and problem still is there.

Was asked to run Hijack. We just did, and here is the results:
Hope you can help - Thanks.

You can find your other posts by clicking on your username anywhere you've posted and using the option to find other posts by that user.

I am by no means an expert on this but you have a couple of baddies that I recognize that are known for slowing things down.

Close all open windows then run hijack this and check the following to be removed.

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://minisearch.startnow.com
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://minisearch.startnow.com

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = http://minisearch.startnow.com
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://minisearch.startnow.com

    O3 - Toolbar: Startnow - {1BC1FC4B-B0D2-4D8D-9307-2E40E2A8C257} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Hyperbar\Hyperbar.dll

This one is optional but were it me, I'd get rid of it as well.
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

There are a couple other items I'm really not sure of so they can wait for expert looks and suggestions. But the ones noted above need to go. Afterwards run another HJT log and post it.

Removed the files via hijack. Things seem to be back to normal now.
    Thanks

Another way to find posts you've made that somebody has replied to. Click on UserCp at the top left of the page and it'll take you to the user control panel. Any posts you've made that somebody has replied to since you last visited the BBS will be shown there.
