    Get this error message every time I star Windos 98:" NAV Ntescape Plug-in Setup.A compatible version of Ntescape is not installed.Netscape must be installed before you can use Netscape Plug-in Setup. "Also most of the website I visit show only a square box with an X.No images.

    I only use IE. There is no NETSCAPE in my computer.

    Go to Start\Run, and type in Msconfig and press Enter. Click on Startup tab, for the the setup program there.

    Look in your Norton group in the start menu. I don't use it anymore but when I did there was a shortcut in there that you could use to turn the Netscape plugin on or off. Don't remember what it was called but I it seems to me the name did refer to the Netscape plugin.
