Again, thanks Ramona, but as you can see from my post to Jim, I have scrubbed Netscape in favour of Fire Fox and Thunderbird. I'll see how I go with them for a while and if they are successful, then I may come back and fiddle with the Netscape Problem , by which time they will probably have it fixed
    :)

I must admit I feel a bit "light-headed" using those two, its like going from a Harley-Davidson to a Honda moped !!!

Never the less thank you for all your help, you've been a real gem :D

Had I known that, I wouldn't have made the suggestion. :) (You never mentioned it ... your original post, on 8 May, was about NS 7.1).

BTW, XP has no Resource Meter because the OS isn't resource based, as Win9.x/Me are.

More like going from a Harley to what's known around here as a "Rice Rocket" ... light-weight, and fast as the dickens. :D

Interesting pictures, Donald, but may I suggest that you edit your post to remove the initial http:// from the link? As it is, it defaults to Microsoft's website.

BTW, what's the tartan in your kilt? It looks familiar, but I can't place it.

    Hi Ramona & Jim,

Now 48 hrs plus since I started using FF 0.8 and TB 0.6 and still no hiccups ! Thoroughly recommend these to anyone.

The tartan is Pride of Scotland (Modern) - not my own, in that respect I am spoilt for choice, Mitchell, Graham, McRae,Black Watch, Stewart or Gordon :D
