Auto Dial up on boot

As soon as the computer boots to desk top the Dialup dropdown shows up.
I want to dial up when I`m ready, not when the computer thinks it`s ready.
Surely there`s an easy way to do this but I can`t find it!!

Moore - Have you been to (on a web page) tools>internet options>connection tab? Place the dot in the "Never dial a connection" and see if that works for you.

Pessimist that I am I decided I probably wouldn`t be able to get on line,after I followed your instructins, no sweat.dialed right up,

Glad that helped. I know your thinking about not being able to dial up but AFAIK those settings are just instructing your computer when to/when not to pop a dialup box up at you.
