Refresh/retry shuts down IE 6 - Win 98

    When I hit Refresh / then Retry on a web page, Internet Explorer closes altogether. What could be causing this? Thanks.

    I don't know offhand, but it would help if you posted your OS (98/Me/XP) and version of IE (5, 5.5, 6)

    I have Windows 98 and IE6.

    OK - I've edited your thread title to make it more specific.

    Suggest a repair of IE, although I'm not sure that will necessarily solve the problem.

    Add/Remove Programs > IE > Remove should bring up a dialogue box with a repair option (Not sure of exact details - I run XP pro which is somewhat different in this respect)
