    Hey everyone,
After downloading logfiles through FTP, i realize that all the .DAT files are already programed to open through Winamp! Never the less i tried to open the log files through the keylogger client, but it says its corrupt. What can i do to read them through the Keylogger client (or anything else).
    XP's to automated i tellzya.

    Thankyou,

    Michael

If winamp is set on your system as the app associated with all .dat files, that is easy enough to fix. But .dat files fairly common and may be associated with a wide variety of applications. So a bit more about the place you downloaded these from and what sort of log files they are supposed to be would help.

i tried to open the log files through the keylogger client, but it says its corrupt

Errr - which 'it' says what 'it' is corrupt?

Log files are generally comma delineated text files. Try opening in wordpad/notepad.

reboot - I think that most of the files named *.dat will be machine code of some sort rather than text files.

Yes, I know that, but these are just log files, not virus update signatures (thanks to AVG for .dat files), nor compressed video files, or whatever.
