Don't worry rockster, i've checked out all the links you picked out for me :)

What i meant was whether or not i had forgotten any particular specification, for example leaving out the fact that i needed "EDO" RAM. I'm just terrified that something will go screwy over in SA. However it seems from yours and Mattman's reply's that everything is in order. That said i'll send of the specs and hope for the best. I'll post back on this string in about 2-3 weeks once the goods have arrived to keep you updated, but mostly so i can yarn on some more :p.

Thanks Mattman, i was just looking for SIMM RAM, but now i'll put in a disclaimer that if my mom's friend can't find SIMM RAM that she may want to look for 5.5 volt DIMM RAM instead.
EDIT: Whoops, my motherboard says it wants either 5V or 3.3V, oh well.

Peace out (or words to that effect)

Sorry, mistake, should read 5.0 volt, not 5.5. Next time I will cover one eye so that I don't see so many 5's :) .
