   After installing a game get a message "error in initiallising 3d hardware .Will try emulation " game will not start.
   Can someone please give me some advice. Thanks, Duncan

   I suspect your video card is not 3D capable, but it wouldn't harm to install the latest video drivers. I guess you have DirectX loaded?
   
   If you would like to post details of the card and game maybe someone can help.
