RASautou.exe??

Does anybody have any idea what RASautou.exe really is or does? I've heard that it's a trojan, a virus, a Microsoft "phone-home" trick, and a perfectly harmless and normal executable file. However, it's a little unnerving!

The other night my PC dialed out on it's own at 4:50 in the AM, and updated a single file in Windows\prefetch. I wouldn't have known anything about it except that it neglected to hang up the phone when it was done.

I've got all the anti-virus and andi-spyware files updated and run regularly, and the RAS dialer in XP Home is set to manual, so I thought it couldn't do this anyway.

I found nothing at all when I checked everything again last night, but I cleaned out the prefetch file just to be sure. Now I'm trying to figure out what's happening. Any ideas?

Saw that earlier. My virus scan found nothing, and the updates are absolutely current. I'm not at home now, so I can't verify that I don't have winmgm32.exe, but I'd think, given how long SoBig has been around, that it wouldn't be an issue.

All the websites I've found where this is mentioned seem to be European, but I don't find much about it anywhere else.
