I hope I have posted this in the right area....

We have replaced an NT SBS with a 2000 SBS and everything has gone well with the exception of the Global Address List/book

Having used Exmege to extract all the mail data from the old server to the new we have found that everything bar the GAL is there.

Is there any way I can obtain the gal from the old server and just import it into the new server...???

    Thanks in advance

    Sorted it....

Apparantly exmerge doesn't export the contacts from the public folders.
These need to be manually copied from the old exchange server into a temporary mail folder on an outlook client then copied from there back into the same location on the new server.

When done you need to edit the properties of these new contacts so that they are viewed as an address book. :D
