I am trying to do a single envelope (which I will customize as card size) & have not been able to feed the envelope the right way in my printer???
I am following the instructions - but it is not feeding properly - what am I doing wrong???
Sorry for being so stupid as I have done this before, but never have I used the customize size in mail merge for a single envelope.
I hope someone out there can help me
    Thanks,
    Lucy

Since you didn't give what program you're using for the envelope, or what printer, I'll take a stab. Using Word, and a HP printer. I have to put mine in the way HP shows, not word.

I am using "Mail Merge" & go to labels & envelopes - that part is fine.
It's only when I feed the envelope into the printer that the problem starts.
    I have a "Lemark X83 printer" .
Appreciate the replies back, but it hasn't solved my problem.
    Thanks,
    Lucy

Please post which Word processor you are using - will help folks fathom out this problem :)

Have you tried reloading the printer driver?

I am using Windows XP home version & work which came with my operating system. Reload the printer driver!!!! No way, as I'm not that experienced - & I would not want to ***** things up. The printer prints fine now (it wasn't a few times before) but still can't seem to put the envelope in printer as shown.
Anyway, thanks Pete - will just have to try & sort this problem out myself.
    Thanks again,

    Lucy - just checking :D

Envelpoes and Labels > Options and choose which envelope orientation suits your printer? TheWord default is not necessarily correct!

    Hi again PeteC
It's just when I choose to use customize envelope size - I am doing everything right but it won't work for me as I am still confused with how to feed the envelope into my printer - - I have tried it several ways - face up or face down & it's just not working - - will have to get help from someone about this!!!

Thanks so much for your replies - much appreciated.

If your paper feeds from the back of your printer, you should put envelope in face up. If your paper feeds from the front of the printer, put the envelope face down.

I realize this but it's still not working - I think I will have to get a hold of Lemark people & see what they have to say.
    Thanks for the reply.

I have reread your posts. Am I correct that it is not printing at all? By feeding problems, what exactly do you mean? Jamming, just going through?
