I have the paid version of registry first aid. I had an earlier version that worked okay with WIN ME. Then I upgraded to the latest version. Program now usually hangs when the first step in the program is about 40% complete. Sometimes it completes if I go away from the computer while its running and do something time-consuming, such as cleaning out the garage and tuning up my car (VERY SLOW). I noted that the Readme file said there was a problem with the program and ME. Odd place to put a warning. If they had given this information at their homepage or download site, I wouldn't have upgraded. Does anyone know if a fix for this bug has been developed.

Zap me a report to my support email and I will see if I can pick what the slowdown cause is.

Could you please send a bugreport by going to the Registry First Aid program folder on the START / Programs Menu . Push the send bugreport button which will normally attach the report to your Outlook Express email , but just in case it does not note where the file called RFA_bugreport.txt is saved to.

If it does not insert the file attachment then go to the insert/file attachment on your Outlook Express, this give you the option to go to the folder where the file is -double click on the file to attach it and come down to this section of the email and add further
comments such as what you were doing and any error messages. I can then try and determine what is causing the problem.

Send it to me at reg1aid@infinisource.com

    Many Thanks for Help

Thanks for your very quick response to my posting, and thanks for the email suggesting I update RFA to latest version. I did that and the program works extremely well, without any problems.
