My favorites menu seems to have gone back to an old version from about August 2003 for some reason. A lot of favorites that were deleted before are back on it, and new ones I've added aren't there. But when I look at the favorites folder on my actual hard drive through Windows Explorer, all of the favorites show up as they should. So I'm not sure why they're completely different when I open up the menu through Internet Explorer or my Start Menu. I'm running on Windows XP.

I was having some issues with my computer due to the avserve.exe virus, and did a System Restore. I don't know if that would have anything to do with this problem though, since I did it from a checkpoint only a few weeks ago.

I just find this very odd and would like my current favorites to show up. Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Thanks :)

If the fav folder has the links you want and only the links you want I'd try backing it up directly, not through the IE export feature and then try importing it from the floppy to IE favorites. If this works but you still have the links you don't want, you can either delete everything in the IE favs and then import again or just delete the ones you no longer want.
