KERNELL 32.DLL errors

How do you correct KERNELL 32.DLL errors? My computer is so slow I can hardly surf the net.

I get these warnings as soon as I get connected to the internet:

U811K1v4n2 has caused an error in KERNELL 32.DLL. U811K1v4n2 will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer.

Bfr0y9oro has caused an error in KERNELL 32.DLL. Bfr0y9oro will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer.

And I get this warning just before I shut down the computer:

Taskmon has caused an error in KERNELL 32.DLL. Taskmon will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer.

Restarting the computer has not helped. I need some help. I am a beginner. Make it simple, and straightfoward, to help me solve these problems.

This MSKB Article should help with the taskmon error. I can find nothing on either one of the other errors. The process name is very odd. I suggest some online virus scans.

Then anti spyware programs such as SpyBot and Adaware, Once install check for updates before running a scan (always)

I downloaded SpyBot but don't know how to use it. I clicked on easy and advanced mode to launch it but all I saw was flags. So I got another one, Anti-Virus and Trojan and right away it found and destroyed about 10 viruses including the ones with the two strange names I have in my first posting. You are right, they are viruses.

But I still have one major problem: downloading web pages and scrolling up and down is so slow as never before. What's causing all this when the viruses are now gone? I have tried TrueSpeed for acceleration to no avail. Do you know of any free software I can use for fast downloads and scrolling? Or do you have any suggestions?

SpyBot is easy, just leave all the settings alone

Adaware is easyer yet But does require some settings for you to choose
(most of us use them both)

What did you get ? best to stick with the favorites.

after that there might be more that needs to be manualy fixed.
Post a log from HijackThis so our forum members can see
what's going on. The current version is 1.97.7 [created by merijn bellekom]
Most of what it lists will be harmless, even essential,DON'T fix anything yet please.

Firt make a new folder, for instance C:Antispyware

Get it here http://radiosplace.com/ choose save, NOT OPEN
Save it to that new folder, double-click HijackThis.exe,
and hit "Scan ". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, It will load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here. Close hijackthis and notepad.

 

Click the flag for the language you use.

The article helped and I corrected the error. Thanks.

But as I'm typing this, all I see is the cursor moving, leaving blank space behind because my computer is now very, very slow. I downloaded Zilla Connection Accelerator to speed things up but nothing works. Scrolling pages takes forever. Is there anything I can do to my IE browser or to anything else on my computer to solve this problem? And what's the best free anti-virus software I can get?

But only If you have ran SpyBot and adaware and rebooted since then.
the symtoms you descibe sound like coolwebsearch.
And what was the anti spyware program you found. some can actualy contain spyware, best to stick with whats most commonly used.

Keep in mind that internet acceleration , well there mostly snakeoil programs if they are free they may opt to try to sell something else etc etc. if they work at all its not worth the added millisecond they add.
