    Ok,

How do I clear the cache of the peer to peer network prompt apart from rebooting the PC when I want to access another PC?

Also, I have another box running as the administrator and have enabled guest account in the rest of my LAN. The administrator box cannot access my LAN via peer to peer.

    Hope to hear from someone!

Not sure what you mean but if you will explain using more words, I'll happily take a shot at giving you an answer.

    Hi,

When I access a shared a folder on a peer to peer network, i'm prompted to enter a username and a password. These credentials have been saved and everytime I would like to get rid of them, i have to reboot my pc. I would like to know a faster way. Basically, they're the wrong details. I hope that helped

Hmm could it be what you want is to execute something like

    net stop workstation

You can then execute a NET USE \\.... to set new parameters.

The NET USE instruction along with its brothers is fairly well documented in Y2K help.

The NET refers to your local peer to peer network, not the Internet.

I am a bit confused. If the credentials are incorrect, why do you continue to use them? If you are connecting through a mapped drive, delete the mapping and recreate it using the proper credentials.
