winmon.exe

    hI All..

    im using

    p4 2.4 A
    512 DDR 2700
    40 GB 7200
    MOBO Gigabyte VIA 8VM533M-RZ(-C) ( with V+S+L onboard )

    my problem is that after a while my computer getting slow n my broadband connection also being slow down.

    when i check Processes tab ( after pressing Ctrl Alt Del ).. i found that winmon.exe being using my CPU up to 97.. n my CPU usage keep stay at 100.. which is y my computer is slow..

    what is winmon.exe? can i disable it during start up?

    pls help.. this is my new computer..

    im using win XP pro

    can i just remove it?
    i mean disable it during start using msconfig?
    does it related to system restore in XP?

    WinMon If it's troublesome - get rid of it! It has nothing to do with System Restore.

    Try the Google Toolbar - the popup stopper included is excellent.
