    Glad you got somewhere Helia !
    Make sure you make a Floppy Boot disk in case you get
    problems again.
    On your C: drive, you have lots of files that you don't know
    what they are, right ?
    Do they have a prefix .chk ?

    Yes they say 00005 etccc etc .chk a few of them have that

    Delete them to the Recycle Bin

    Can you now run Scandisk after a successful Windows boot ?
    If so, run it two or three times.
