I want to have My Favorites on my Start menu like Programs is.

Where do I find it and how do I move it there? I've looked in Sys32 and didn't see it not do I find it listed in Windows under Drive C.

Go to the Control Panel, select 'Taskbar and Start Menu'. Then click the Start Menu tab, click 'Customize', then the 'Advanced Tab', where it says 'Start menu items:', place a check by Favorites folder.

    Mr. B ...

An easier way to get to the Start menu properties tab is to right-click on the Start button and select Properties ... two steps, rather than four.

For some reason, I don't show "Start Menu Items" on the Advanced tab. Another way to accomplish what RickyD2 wants would be:
    • 1. Select Classic Start menu (not a permanent selection, although I prefer the Classic Start menu) and click the Customize button.

      2. Click the Advanced button, which opens Windows Explorer in the Start menu folder.

      3. Drag the Favorites folder to the Start menu folder, close the Explorer window, and click on the OK button.

      4. Reselect Start menu and click on the OK button.

yeah it's Windows... more than one way to skin a cat :D
I normally just right-click on the taskbar (not the start button) and select properties. Sorry my instructions tired you out.

ps 'Start menu items' on the 'Advanced tab' is the textbox in the middle of the properties dialogue.

Sorry, but that isn't there, either. It may have something to do with the fact that I'm using Windows Classic view, and only go to the default Start menu when necessary.

Your instructions didn't tire me out at all. :) I used to use your method until I discovered the right-click on the Start button method. Diff'rent strokes, but that's the great thing about Windoze ... it's almost infinitely configurable.
