cleaning a drive

    Can anyone tell me how to clean my A drive? Someone told me I need to do that and have no idea how!

    Hi Rhody1
    Are you just talking about dust build up? If so:
    Use a can of dry compressed air. You can find this in various sizes at your local office supply store, probably in the electronics section. Just ask for canned air. Point the air stream out of the drive, and clean from back to front, so that you don't pack dirt around the heads and sliders.

    I think thats what I mean. I have a digital camera and when I put the floppy in I cant see my pictures. I never had trouble before. I emailed my viewer people and they said I need to clean my A drive. I see the pictures on my camera but when I put the disk in I cant see them so I think thats what they mean. I will try the compressed air thingy and see if that helps. Just very frustrating when I can't fix something. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it
