Getting by login screen on a new to me, used compter

    I just purchased a used IBM thinkpad w/ NT - when it starts up it goes to a login screen looking for a domain and password from the previous owner - how do I clear this out so I can use this PC in my new world??:(

    You need the administrator password to delete the existing user and setup your own login. I would contact the previous owner for help, 'else you will need to format and load the OS again.

    You did receive the install disk (and hopefully) the setup floppies?
